The Harris Tweed Orb (UPDATED)…
February 21, 2011

…is 100 years old!  To celebrate, the Harris Tweed Authority has organised some events to honour the centenary.  Here is the A6 invitation ticket I recently did for them – they required an elegant look and feel to their tickets, as they were for such an important moment for the company.  These were printed on 350gsm silk stock, and the tickets for both shows were sold out on the first day.  There will be event programmes to follow soon:

Below is the first item I created on their behalf – a small advert for the local papers:

‘Die Hard’ Poster Draft….
February 18, 2011

You may have cottoned onto this by now – I’m a bit of a movie geek!!  Here’s an early draft of the first in a series of illustrated movie posters I plan to create.  This will be an ongoing project that I’ll be working on in my spare time, and is something I’ve been thinking of doing for years (originally the text was going to be in Gaelic but don’t think I would sell very many!).

Will keep updating these as I do them, and they will all eventually be for sale in my online shop.  These will all just be of personal favourites of mine, so if you don’t like Robocop then tough luck!  :)

Cult Viewing updates….
February 13, 2011

Below are two early drafts of characters that will feature in new installments of my Cult Viewing illustration series – the title character from Father Ted, and Greenman from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I will be working away steadily in my own time on these two new illustration sets, so will keep posting updates as I go…..
