I have just listed 4 new items of recent work below, have a heap of exciting projects underway, and have just hit 20,000 views on the blog this minute!!  It’s at times like this I love my job….have a good weekend y’all!!

1972 Cup-winners Canvas September 24, 2011

I was commissioned to create a special 16″x16″ illustrated canvas last night for an event held at The Lewis & Harris Rangers Supporters Club – as five of the victorious European Cup Winners Cup team from 1972 were visiting, along with the famous old cup itself!!  By all accounts it was a fantastic night and seen below are Willie Johnston, Peter Mccloy, Ronnie Mackinnon, Colin Stein & Dave Smith (who all signed the canvas before it was raffled), surrounding an illustration of the extremely rare poster that was seen around Barcelona at the time:

Exhibition Poster September 24, 2011

The below A3 poster was designed as part of the marketing materials for an upcoming exhibition at An Lanntair Arts Centre, in Stornoway.  More items to come from this project in due course:

Harris Tweed DVD September 24, 2011

The Harris Tweed Authority recently commisioned me to create a series of packaged covers for their varying versions of DVDs, that were produced to promote the famous fabric.  Below is one of the front covers that was created, designed to look like one of their trademark labels:

Envy Hair Salon on the Isle of Lewis have earned themselves a great, professional reputation, and the owner was keen to create a new look and feel for the ever-expanding business.  Below is the new logo that was created to introduce this new look to the business:

ATTACK THE BLOCK September 13, 2011

Concept sketch for a piece I’m thinking of doing for the new British Sci-fi film ‘Attack the Block’ - if you get the chance to see this film go and see it, because it is fantastic!!  Definitely one of the best films this year…

Work Update… September 8, 2011

Been really busy lately so haven’t been posting as regularly as I would like, but hope to change that soon!  Have got stuff for Red Bull/NHS/Storlann/Funky wedding illustrations, etc, that I can’t show yet for one reason or another, but will have them up on the blog in the coming months, so be patient sports fans….
